Botrychium tunux, commonly known as Moosewort or Tunux' Moonwort, is a fern species belonging to the Adder's-tongue family.

Distribution and Habitat

  • Botrychium tunux is native to California and was originally described from southeastern Alaska.
  • It has since been found in additional locations, including Wrangell-St. Elias, Alaska.
  • Specimens have also been collected from British Columbia and Montana.
