Distribution and Habitat

Morphological Characteristics
- Bartlettia in New Mexico is an herbaceous annual, unlike similar species of Perityle found in the same region, which are sub-shrubs.
- Leaf blades measure 8-25 mm by 9-23 mm.
- Peduncles (flower stalks) are scapiform, ranging from 3-20 cm in length.
- Ray corollas have tubes 3-3.5 mm long and laminae 7-8 mm by 3-4 mm.
- Disc corollas measure 4-7.5 mm.
- Cypselae measure 2.5-4 mm.
