Distribution and Habitat

  • Found in cool and temperate regions.
  • Observed growing on a mossy bank along the Eagle Creek Trail in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.
  • Also noted in a spring-head bog in Epping Forest, Hill Wood.
  • Observed on water of ruined wall of china clay dry, trickling with water and shaded by Grey Willows.

Associations

  • Grows on fallen logs.
  • Found alongside Plagiochila asplenioides ssp. porelloides.
  • Observed with Rumex arifolius, Senecio hercynicus and Veratrumalbum subsp. lobelianum.
