Distribution and Habitat
Amsonia ciliata is native to southeastern North America, including the southeastern United States and the southern Great Plains. It is found in open, dry, well-drained sandy habitats. In Florida, it occurs throughout much of the northern half of the state. It is also reported to be found in Texas (Tarrant County, Tandy Hills Natural Area).
Morphological Characteristics
