Distribution and Habitat
In Illinois, Dalea foliosa (Leafy Prairie Clover) is found growing in prairie remnants. Purple prairie clover also occurs in glades, rocky open woods, and prairies. It is also found in Gray Summit, Missouri.
Morphological Characteristics
